Doctor en Psicopedagogía y Profesor e investigador de la Universidad de Granada. Como docente, resalta su experiencia de más de 25 años en la Universidad de Granada, con una valoración de excelente, así como en otras universidades nacionales e internacionales, como contratado e invitado.

Como investigador, además de coordinador y miembro de media centena de proyectos, es fundador y director del "Grupo de Investigación en Comunicación Educativa ICE-HUM871" así como miembro de otros grupos de investigación en Panamá (Grupo de Investigación en el Campo de la Discapacidad GGICD) y en Colombia (Grupos "Gestión Educativa" y "Expedicionarios Humanistas"), vicepresidente de la "Asociación Civil Científica Piensa Diferente", con sede y registro en Perú, y director de investigación de la "Asociación Educativa Global (AEG) con sede en Chile.

En cuanto a la transferencia, destaca como presidente del "Observatorio de Neuroeducación Superior Iberoamericano (ONSI) NeurObserva" conformado por multitud de Universidades iberoamericanas, coordinador de la red de "Neuroeducación y Diseño Universal para el Aprendizaje Neuro-DUA" auspiciada por la AUIP, miembro de otras redes socio profesionales, corresponsable del "Laboratorio de Inclusión Educativa (LiE) DiverInclusión", miembro de varias cátedras, entre ellas la mundial reconocida por la UNESCO “LEE” y creador de la Plataforma "Neuroedúcate".

Especializado en atención a la diversidad en la Escuela Inclusiva mediante metodologías activas y tradicionales guiadas por el Diseño Universal para el Aprendizaje (DUA), optimización de la comunicación educativa (educomunicación) y neurodiversidad y neuroplasticidad en el aula. Autor y editor de casi una treintena de libros en editoriales especializadas, internacionales y de prestigio, como Arial, Aljibe, EOS, Octaedro, Pirámide, principalmente; y más de una centena y media de artículos en diversas revistas igualmente prestigiosas e internacionales (europeas y americanas).

Además, ejerce como director, editor y revisor de multitud revistas científica internacionales. Entre ellas, es fundador y director de la revista RETOS XXI auspiciada y editada por la Universidad de Granada. Ha participado como ponente y profesor invitado en universidades extranjeras de casi todos lo continentes. Con algunas de ellas ha gestado convenios docentes y de investigación con la Universidad de Granada.

PhD in Psychopedagogy and Professor and Researcher at the University of Granada. As a lecturer, he has over 25 years of teaching experience at the University of Granada, consistently receiving excellent evaluations, as well as teaching experience at other national and international universities as both a contracted and visiting professor.

As a researcher, in addition to coordinating and participating in more than fifty research projects, he is the founder and director of the Educational Communication Research Group (ICE-HUM871). He is also a member of other research groups in Panama (Research Group in the Field of Disability – GGICD) and Colombia (Educational Management and Humanist Expeditionaries Research Groups), Vice-President of the Scientific Civil Association “Piensa Diferente”, based and registered in Peru, and Director of Research of the Global Educational Association (AEG), based in Chile.

In the field of knowledge transfer, he serves as President of the Ibero-American Higher Education Neuroeducation Observatory (ONSI-NeurObserva) composed of numerous Ibero-American universities. He is also Coordinator of the Neuroeducation and Universal Design for Learning Network (Neuro-UDL), sponsored by the Ibero-American University Association for Postgraduate Studies (AUIP); a member of several socio-professional networks; Co-Director of the Educational Inclusion Laboratory (LiE-DiverInclusión); member of various academic chairs, including the internationally renowned UNESCO Chair “LEE”; and creator of the NeuroEdúcate Platform.

His areas of specialization include attention to diversity within Inclusive Education through active and traditional methodologies guided by Universal Design for Learning (UDL), the optimization of educational communication (educommunication), and neurodiversity and neuroplasticity in the classroom. He is the author and editor of nearly thirty books published by prestigious international academic publishers, including Arial, Aljibe, EOS, Octaedro, and Pirámide, among others, and has authored more than 150 articles in leading international scholarly journals across Europe and the Americas.

In addition, he serves as director, editor, and reviewer for numerous international scientific journals. Among these, he is the founder and editor-in-chief of the journal RETOS XXI, sponsored and published by the University of Granada. He has participated as a keynote speaker and visiting professor at universities across nearly every continent. Several of these collaborations have led to the establishment of teaching and research agreements with the University of Granada.
